A Disney day for us doesn't mean going to Disneyland unlike those of you in California... :) We went to see the Disney on Ice Princess Classics for an early birthday trip for Lily. It was out in Columbus so it became an all day extravaganza.
We went to a 3:00 show since we had a 2 1/2 hour drive there and back. Lily and Jake both napped in the car so we were guaranteed a pleasant afternoon. It was actually a relaxing experience. I never would have believed it.
Here is Lily impatiently waiting for it to start. (Yes she is Cinderella!)
We saw Jasmine and Aladdin, Aurora and Phillip, Mulan and Shang, Ariel and Erik, Snow White and Prince Charming, Belle and Beast, and Cinderella and the Prince. There were appearances by Gaston, all the fairies, Sebastian, Abu (in monkey and elephant form), Genie, Carpet, and several of the villains. No night would be complete without Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy! Lily was enraptured by the whole thing! Jake loved all the music and enjoyed dancing. We were in a good mood so Lily and Jake got things that they never would have gotten, cotton candy with a crown and an icee in a "shiny cup"! We had a great time and totally recommend Disney on Ice!The Big finale! There are more pictures on our other site...
