We took the day off of work and school to take Jake into the allergist to get his skin test done. I had heard from a lot of people that the skin test is really hard on the kid and parent so I had Joe come along to help me with Jake. Fortunately it wasn't as bad as it could have been. He hived from all of the pricks but once they did the measurements they decided that he was only allergic to some things...grasses, pollens, trees, dust mites, etc. Fortunately there were no problems with pets or molds (as we tend to live in OLD houses)! The house that we are currently living in has got to be at the least a hundred and ten or twenty years old. So, we are relieved that the house is NOT what is hurting him.
We went over to BW3 for a consolation dinner. The kids love it there because they are still young enough to just want to push all the buttons on the arcade games without actually wanting to put money in to them. They had a lot of fun and LOVED the temp tattoos that they put with the kiddie menu and crayons. Joe, Jake and Lily looked like pirates once they were done with all of them.
Jake didn't want to show off his "ink". He was more interested in sticking the corn dog onto his finger, like a lollipop.
