Also, I want to give you the chance to enter, even if it means that my chances of winning are decreased. I love you all that much!

Lily started school today. It was only a 2 hour day but she was so excited about being able to go. When I picked her up she let me know that it was wonderful and that she wanted to go everyday! Poor thing, little does she know how many more years she has in front of her. :) She gets to ride the bus tomorrow so we will see how that goes.
After I picked her up we went to Burger King for a little lunch with a friend from school. We like to do something kind of fun on special occasion days and the kids always pick Burger King because of the play area.
The older 2 kids also started soccer today. Their first game is on Saturday morning. We’ll see how Lily does this year. Hopefully she will do better in the attitude department this year. Jake is still a little young but he really wanted to play so we are giving it a go. They are on the same team, the Vultures, with Joe as the coach.

We went to church and then the Brewers game today.
What do you think of this face? It screams “I am up to no good” to me!
We left the game early and headed home. Melissa was a sweetheart and watched the kids so that we could go out to Indian with Matt and Christie. When we got home the kids were all bathed and she had done the girls hair and given them each a mani-pedi. Thank you so mcuh Miss! We really appreciate it and the girls were ecstatic!

These are actually from the night before but we left so early that we couldn’t say goodbye in the morning.
Sleeping on the plane. Everyone was really tired!
Lily and Jake got to go into the cockpit to say hi to the pilots. They were really excited to see everything!

The kids in their matching clothes from Gramma Jack.
We drove out to Oakland to visit with Grandpa Dick today. We picked him up and went to Joaqin Miller Park. We walked around and saw the amphitheater and some beautiful views. Then, we enjoyed a picnic before heading out to Fairyland.
Then we went to dinner at a little Mexican place that was across the street. We had some tasty burritos before heading home.

Don’t look now but the baby has coffee! Gramma gave her a little bit of iced mocha in a sippy cup. It made her day. Here she is with her fellow coffee addicts, gramma and godmother!
Rachel and I worked on finishing up the paperless paper dolls. I needed to have them done so that I could give them to Layla.
We enjoyed dinner with the Hughes family. They came over and brought dinner and played in the pool.
Thanks all! It was so fun seeing you!

We started off the morning with french toast. Not just any french toast. THE french toast. It is made with love by one Laurie Dapelo and then cut, perfectly I might add, into little squares that all stay together. Anytime she makes it her boys still have her cut it for them. Trust me, you do not get between a man and his mother’s perfectly cut french toast! Clearly her grandson is a big fan too.
After some breakfast we pulled out the toys from when the boys were little and the kids played with them for awhile.
Laurie, Rachel, and I took all the kids out for lunch at Subway and then went to Kohls and Costco for a little shopping. When we got back Joe and I took Shane, Jake, and Hannah to Jordan’s baseball game. The kids had a blast playing on the playground and getting dinner from the concession stand.

Today was a visit to Old Sac and then saying goodbye to Nana. We had such a fun visit with her. After that, we went over to the Train Museum and wandered around looking at all the many trains that they had. The kids loved it.
