The last dinner for a trillion...

So, here is the deal. On our way home from Josh and Ruthie's we ran into a closure on the highway. We got off and this site met our eyes. I was convinced that it was a manhunt of some kind. We were told that it was a routine safety and security check. They checked out all of the lights, insurance, registration, etc. and let us go.

We googled it later and found out that they stopped over a thousand cars. There were 56 police officials there and other volunteers. There were something like 10 or 15 agencies involved in the endeavor. There were14 people arrested and I forget how many warnings and citations were issued. I am just thankful that we didn't get any of them. :)

We went to the Picha home for Dinner for a Trillion after church on Sunday. We spent pretty much the entire afternoon in the pool. Jake was completely unwilling to get out of the pool, even when it started raining.

Matthew LOVED it!
