Snow Day!

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.

So. Much. Fun.

    1. Haha. It was -16 degrees that day. So cold. They only lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before freezing to death. I am always a little jealous when I see those swimming in January pictures. :)

  3. no way! i can't believe you got that picture of the snowflake! that's awesome. yeah, snowflakes here don't look like that. more like some big, weird mutant version of that. i think they try to procreate on the way down. ;)

    1. By the end of our time outside we didn't have any that looked like that. It was more pellets than flakes. I love the big fluffy ones.

    2. i find it funny that that is 'big fluffy'. out here, big and fluffy is what looks like feathers falling out of the sky!

    3. No, this isn't big and fluffy. At all. I would prefer the big and fluffy over these. Up close and zoomed in they are pretty but the big fluffy ones are prettier when they fall. Sorry about that. :)
