Haha. It was -16 degrees that day. So cold. They only lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before freezing to death. I am always a little jealous when I see those swimming in January pictures. :)
no way! i can't believe you got that picture of the snowflake! that's awesome. yeah, snowflakes here don't look like that. more like some big, weird mutant version of that. i think they try to procreate on the way down. ;)
No, this isn't big and fluffy. At all. I would prefer the big and fluffy over these. Up close and zoomed in they are pretty but the big fluffy ones are prettier when they fall. Sorry about that. :)

ReplyDeleteBy the end of our time outside we didn't have any that looked like that. It was more pellets than flakes. I love the big fluffy ones.
