Project Life- Week 12

This week Jake and Lily had a well-child check up and got some updates on immunizations. So, Jake spent some time after the shots with a Star Wars puzzle. Lily's choice of comfort was a chocolate milkshake from McDonalds.

I love that Lily wears uniforms for this reason. She looks so put together when she goes to school!

We had some rain and as soon as the kids saw it they immediately ran out with their umbrellas and slickers to play.

Happy birthday to me! This sunset was gorgeous! We went to IHOP for a combined birthday dinner and this is the sight that met us when we walked out.

Happy birthday to Lily! We had Norwegian pancakes (her choice) ready for her when she woke up. She got to talk to Gramma Laurie during breakfast.

We went to a wedding on Saturday that Joe did at the church. During the reception while we were waiting for the bride and groom to arrive Hannah decided to take a little nap. There were LOTS of people that whipped out their cell phones to take a picture of her.

Jake bought this balloon for Lily and painstakingly picked out 12 roses individually for me. So sweet!

The kids were playing outside in bathing suits on Saturday. It was 61 degrees outside. Yes, they are crazy!

Weeks 5 and 6.
Week 5 is pretty average. Nothing extra.

Week 6. There were a lot of extras this week since I did A Day in the Life.

Happy 7th!

My firstborn child turned 7 today. Yes, 7 YEARS OLD!

It seems crazy that she is that old now.

I don't know where all the time went.

Last I checked this is what she looked like.

Not this.

Shall we do a little review?
2005- Aaaah, memories. The year we went from newlyweds to family. It was so exciting!

2006- Lily turned one. She became a big sister.

2007- Two years old!

2008- Three... another sibling. This time she was ecstatic since she got a sister.

2009- Four years old. Highlight was being a flowergirl in Auntie Ruthie's wedding.

2010- Five years old. She started Kindergarten. It was tough for this mama to see her old enough to go.

2011- Six years old. First grade.

2012- 7 years old. My how time does fly!

Happy birthday Lily!

Project Life- Week 11

I have already blogged some of the pictures that I am planning on using this week in my layout. I am still working out how to lay out all the pictures this week. I was going to do a large collage but decided to try and break it up a little. So, we'll see how that goes.

It has been a really great week. Nothing too terribly exciting, lots of hanging out in the yard, lots of movie nights since the kids are on spring break, and plenty of excitement with Montana joining our family.

Here are weeks 3 and 4. Sooner or later we will be totally caught up on the blog.

Montana

We have been enjoying our newest addition to the family.

Montana.

He is so beautiful!

We are all still getting used to each other.

I think he may have spent his life (prior to coming to us) on a velvet pillow eating steak.

Beautiful Weather!

We have had amazing weather this last week.

Sunshiny days with cool breezes.

Warm sun.

Aaaaaaaah.

The kids have loved every moment of it all.

It took Matthew a few days to realize that a coat is no longer necessary attire. Now, he wants to be barefoot. All the time.

Love....
