Christmas Day

Christmas morning.

Santa brought a Kindle Fire for all the kids to share. It was a big hit. We were singing Santas praises during the 30 hour drive!

Johnny and Esther checking out the Surface.

Matthew had no desire to leave the doll beds alone. He was a little jealous.

My mom was really disappointed that she wasn't able to be there so we put the computer on the table and she watched via Skype. It is a new world ladies and gentlemen. A new world!

Hannah got a bunch of American Girl stuff from Esther. She loves the diaper bag. She takes it EVERYWHERE!

The inevitable cleaning up of all the wrappings. Joe loves this job! :)

After all that excitement we got the car packed up and hit the road. We took two vans with 12 people (5 of them 7 and under) and got on the road to California. We stopped for dinner at the only place open on Christmas Day... Bakers Square.

Then, it was more driving... lots more driving.
(A big thank you to Josh for some of the pictures. It is nice to have different perspectives.)
