Hello San Francisco! This is our third trip in a week. It got to be a long drive. We wanted to do a little sightseeing with the kids so we headed back. Before we left Layla got to open her early birthday present from her parents. She was excited to take her new AG doll Julie to SF. David and Rachel joined us with their kids. We ate a delicious lunch on the pier and then proceeded to walk around.
Alcatraz Island. Maybe next time we can take the cruise out there.
Trying to get a picture of all the kids looking at the seals was nearly impossible thanks to gigantic Shane! :) So, one with and one without.
The girl cousins.
Some of the boy cousins.
Here it is. The best it gets.
These musical stairs were a big hit. The kids must have played on them for at least 15 minutes.
We drove out to a lookout point to take some pictures of the bridge. I am so glad we were able to do that. In all the trips that we have taken to SF I don't think we have ever gotten such good views.
You do what you have to for the shot... :)
We continued home while the other van went to Oakland to pick up Nana. It was a LONG drive home for everyone but we all finally made it. We had a chance to visit a little with Nana when she got to the house. Such a fun day, even with all the hours in the car.
